In Massachusetts to New York commuters Psychotherapy, Sex Therapy, Coaching
If you are physically in New York State for your sessions, you can be seen for psychotherapy, sex therapy, or coaching, and use your out of network insurance if a diagnosis is warranted. For example, commuters from New York City, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, DC, and Pennsylvania can be seen for medically necessary psychotherapy as long as you are physically in New York for your telehealth session.
Anyone traveling to New York from anywhere in the world can also be be seen via telehealth while physically in New York State for psychotherapy, which may include Sex Therapy and/or Coaching.
Non-psychological, brief, goal oriented and educational services, such as sex therapy and coaching, can be provided in most locations without traveling to New York. See outside of New York.
